20 years…I knew I should
have hung onto the autographed Fatal Vision shirt I had…that would
be worth a fortune on EBay! I moved to Turtle Lake in 1996 (I live
on Echo Lake about 2 miles North of TL) and have been employed with
Sanmina-Sci (formally Hartzell, CMS-Hartzell and SCI) for 18 years.
I started my career as a tool and die maker and progressed into
engineering. My current position allows me to travel around the US
and an occasional trip to Taiwan or China when needed. I have a son
(Tux) who is 11 years old. He’s kind of smelly so he usually sleeps
outside in his kennel. I like to spend my free time on a golf
course, riding my Harley or enjoying the lake with friends. I still
enjoy all kinds of hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling and the “normal”
stuff people from this area do. Anyway…this is starting to sound
like a Personal Ad so I think I’ll grab myself a 2 liter bottle of
Sun Country wine cooler, put on the Zubaz and crank some Bon Jovi!
Hope to see you all at the reunion!!

I will not be attending the reunion; my Husband Scott is turning 40
on the 25th and we already have
plans. As you probably already know, I married Scott Kieffer and
have been married 19yrs this August. We have 3 children, Mitchell
is 14 and going to be a freshman this year. Trust me, I will
never tell him the things I did in high school!! Jacob is 9, and
Madison is 8 (going on 18). Well there isn’t much to tell, we live
in Osceola, I work in Lake Elmo and enjoy spending time with my
children. We like to travel, fish, and spend time with family.

Wow - 20 years is just hard
for me to believe. I'm beginning to feel old. I still live in
Spooner and have been working at the same company for over 17 years
- guess I must be doing something right if they still keep me there
this long. Our company makes small explosive devices for the
military so right now we are really busy, I work in the
office/accounting area though so don't worry about me blowing myself
up :o). I've been divorced almost 2 years, but from my marriage, I
got two wonderful kids. My daughter, Samantha, is 11 and my son Tony
is 9.
Between work, taking care of
kids, softball & little league, and trying to keep my house in order
- I don't have a lot of spare time, but when I do I enjoy a few
drinks and going out with friends. I'm going to try and make it to
the reunion, but I've got some plans for that weekend which I'm
trying to switch so I can at least say "HI" during the day.

Lisa and I have
settled down on a hobby farm south of River Falls, WI. We have two girls
Tess (10yrs) and Natalie (8yrs). (Photo attached from last year’s
dominating 1st place entry at the River Falls Days kiddie parade!!) Our
two golden retrievers, Toby and Abby, and barn cat, Lillie round out the
rest of our family. I work at Thermetic Products, Inc in Minneapolis as
a sales development manager. Lisa teaches nursery school 3 days a week
at Rainbow Preschool in Afton, MN. Much of our “spare time” is consumed
by the renovation of our 105 year old farm house. You’re all welcome
anytime!........Just be sure to bring some work clothes! My future plans
include spending as much time as possible hanging out in Mark Simpson’s
basement, as I’ve recently learned he lives 3 blocks from my office in
Minneapolis.

Wow- 20 years already, time sure does
fly by. Chuck and I live in Cottage Grove, Minnesota and have been
married for 15 years. We have 2 sons, Christopher 18, he will
graduate in 2009 and Joshua 11, he will be in 6th grade. We also
have 2 Shih-Tzu's (Gizzy and Littlebit) and a 15 year old cat
(Socks). I have been working at the Allina Medical Clinic in
Cottage Grove for 6 years as a Medical/Mental Health
Receptionist/Scheduler and a lead super user for our new Excellian
computer system. In 2005, I became a single mom for 2 years as my
husband was sent to Mississippi for 6 months of military training
and then off to Iraq in April 2006. He returned safely in July
2007. It was a very long and scary 2 years. We both enjoy going to
different NASCAR races and we were able to meet Dale Earnhardt Jr in
Milwaukee after he won the race and also Dale Sr in Charlotte, NC
the year before he died. My mom and dad still live in Cumberland so
we get up there a few times during the year. Our future plans are
to get Christopher graduated and ready for the real world. Hope to
see you all at the reunion.

20 years ?? It's hard to believe we will
all be turning 40 in a few ...yikes! Does that mean are biological
clocks are ticking? I have been married almost 17 years (October
12th) to my husband David. We have one child, Brady ~ he will soon
be 9 in August...a big third grader this fall. We keep busy with him
~ he is our little all star...involved in baseball, soccer, and flag
football. We spend a lot of time at the ball fields ~ We live in the
country at Osceola, Wi. ~ that is where my husband is from....so we
have been here many years and we love it! It is a small town, great
community ~ reminds me of my home town of Cumberland. I am employed
at the RiverBank in Osceola...I love it and have been there almost
14 years...I feel like a permanent fixture some days. It is funny
how people pick on me when I tell them I am originally from
Cumberland...is there something wrong with us people from north of
8? ...absolutely not! Proud of it! Tawnya Kieffer, Julie Boerboom &
I are now from Osceola & only live within 10 minutes from each
other... are kids are friends also...what a small world. My family
is my big success, no big future plans...takin' it one day at a
time...we are planning on attending the reunion party. Can't wait to
see everyone and their families.

Well, it’s hard to believe it has been
20 years. In 2001, I moved from Turtle Lake, WI to Minocqua, WI to
begin my educational leadership career. I was an Assistant
Principal for two years and I am in my sixth year as the
Superintendent for the Minocqua School District. Minocqua is also
nicknamed the “Island City”, but instead of having a Rutabaga
Festival, we have Beef-A-Rama. Trust me, it’s not the same. I get
back to Cumberland regularly, but more often lately, as I have been
dating my girlfriend, Sue Franks, for a year and half and she lives
in Almena. She has turned me into a country music fan and into the
enjoyment of camping in a RV. I am finishing up my Doctorate and
will be graduating in May of 2009. As a student, I realize that I
am as much of a procrastinator now as I was in high school. When
not working with students or being a student myself; I enjoy riding
motorcycle, snowmobiling, golfing. I also take an annual trip to
Vegas. I am looking forward to the reunion.

How life has changed since our 10 year
reunion. I have really enjoyed reading everyone's emails. However, I
have 2 very small boys and a busy work life. (and I can't stand
people that constantly brag about their kids being the most
brilliant little Einstein's ever, so I won't do that to you). But I
do think they are pretty great. My sons are Mitchell 3.5 years and
Nicholas 6 months (so be prepared, I am still struggling to lose the
baby weight at 38 years old!) Yes, still the same terrific husband
and lots of blessing. I am feeling too overwhelmed to even begin to
tell it all. So, I just wanted everyone to know that I am loving the
fact that Mark has set this up, and hope to see you all at Brian's
Party!!! This is by far the COOLEST class reunion idea ever you
guys. Thanks!!!!

It was great to see some photos and read
about you and your families. Glad to see that most of you are still
doing well. I am currently residing in Racine, Wisconsin with my
wife, Crystal, and our five children. We have three girls and two
boys. I traded my '81 Camaro in for a minivan years ago! I don't
work Undercover anymore and even tried working as a uniformed Police
Officer for a while. I even worked as a Cumberland Police Officer
for a short time. I ended up with Milwaukee County Sheriff's
Department, but found it hard to be a farm-boy in a BIG city. My
wife and I currently run three web sites and are launching three new
ones this summer. You could always log onto:
www.videotourmybusiness.com and see what we have been up to. Sorry
that we couldn't make the 20th, but we have been extremely busy, as
most of you with careers and families can understand. See you at the
next one!

Wow, times flies when you are having fun,,,,,,ah I mean working! In
1999, my husband Lou and I relocated from TN to Plantation FL
(suburb of Ft. Lauderdale). I received my Master's degree in 2002
and I am currently employed as a Project Manager for American
Express. Mitsy (cat) and Scooby (dog) are our only 'kids' for now.
We've recently purchased some land near Ashville NC and hope to
become 'half-backs' someday (ie a term that folks in NC use for
those northerns that move south and then 'half back' to the north).
I get back to Cumberland 1-2 times a year and have come to a few
conclusions: I love that there are no traffic lights and enjoy
driving again and most importantly, the friends I made in grade
school and high school are still the best !! Looking forward to
seeing everyone!

I did not graduate from
CHS as my family moved in 86’ but I did attend from 3rd-10th
grade and it was a fun blast from the past seeing all the names and
faces on the site!
After HS, I traveled
all over the East coast for about 2 years before deciding it was time to
buckle down and further my education. I graduated with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 93’ from Evangel College (NKA Evangel
University) and then came back to WI and settled in Eau Claire.
After realizing that you can do absolutely NOTHING with a BS in Psych in
Eau Claire, WI, I decided to sell houses for a year until I figured out
if I wanted to go back for my Masters or relocate for better job
opportunities. That was 14 years ago and I guess I’m still
thinking about it cuz’ I am still selling homes in Eau Claire for
Coldwell Banker!
J I’ve
also been the Director of Training for all of our offices in
northwestern WI for the last 6 years and also speak at various seminars
and conventions throughout the U.S. for Coldwell Banker Corporate.
I’m married to my best
friend, John, and we have 2 boys, Cameron (15) and Evan (10).
When we’re not working, we are at the baseball fields 8 days a week!
Not sure if anyone will remember me but feel free to post this info. if
you feel it is relevant to the Class of 88’.
J
I’d love to even stop by the Class Reunion but we’ll be in MN for a
Little League baseball tournament.

Yes, I'm married to Theresa for two years
and we have no kids but do have two lame cats and about 10 even lamer
fish. We live in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota. I work for
Mercer Consulting as a highly paid and respected Senior Vice
President lowly scribe. My family still lives in
Cumberland, and that is also where I am a failed slum lord looking to
sell his very nice duplex (where I broke my ankle last winter) My
last celebrity encounter was with former heavyweight boxing champion
Mike Tyson in fabulous Las Vegas, when our group sat next to his
entourage and I got to shake his hand, which was softer than I was
expecting being that he is a pretty tough guy with a crazy tattoo on
half of his face. And speaking of tattoos, I have my first one on
my arm but not as many as Brian Stevens. Rock on, class of '88!

My wife Michelle and I are still living
in Cumberland. We've been married for 17 years and have three kids.
I have two Boys, Ben who is 13, and Nic who is 11. I have a
daughter, Alysin, who is 8. I own a commercial printing business in
Cumberland. I still play drums, and am pretty heavy in the music
scene yet. I really have not matured much since school. I still
play in bands in the Minnesota and Wisconsin area. I do speaking at
schools about tolerance and diversity in schools, music as a career,
and being motivated and responsible. I also do drum lessons, and
compete in drum off competitions. Over the past 20 years, I've had
the opportunity to share the stage with, meet and party with many
many big bands and musicians. Yes, I partied with Brett Michaels on
his tour bus. Probably the biggest accomplishments I've had are that
my drum kit was featured in Modern drummer magazine in December
2007. I was featured in the Wisconsin Musicians association
website, and I picked up an endorsement with "Drum Star Wear
Clothing". That's what this picture is from. Can't wait to see
everyone that can make it to the party.

Hey class of 88, I can’t believe it’s
been 20 years already. Let’s see, Angie and I have been married for
16 years and have 3 kids, Lauren (17), Brecken (15) and Paige (13).
I’ve lived in the Twin Cities area since graduation and currently
reside in Ham Lake. I work as an IP Video Engineer for Comcast and
have been with them for 12 years. My wife works for a middle school
in the lunch room and also works at the Metrodome in the cash room.
Lauren and Brecken are very involved with the theater department at
their high school and perform in four plays every year. < SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Paige is a competition cheerleader and is
on two teams this year, she loves to cheer. We enjoy traveling,
working on the house and spending time with friends. Looking forward
to seeing everyone and catching up at Brian’s on the 26th. Go
Beavers!!!!!!
